Roger that , Bull. You really don't know how good a deal was until you get into the practical application phase. I mean, I like coffee as much as the next guy, but a solar powered espresso machine would be a pain to lug around the high country even if it was free!

I agree though for me, due to lack of funds, I still have gear that may be 'old' but very functional. I have worked with it in many different situations and environments, and it all still works for me. Yes the new gear looks good and is tempting, but not time for me, esp with a move coming up etc..........

I've found that once begun, the acquisitions tend to snow-ball! One finds themselves prioritizing a little differently and before long you are looking for ways to store it all!

Garand69 forgot to mention all the exercise you will be getting by starting small and reconning your primary AO. Decent clothes and comfortable shoes will get you further around other people than being all "tacted" out will.
