DOES ANYONE HERE HAVE ANY good info on the stopping power of the .380 JHP and just ball ammo (practice rounds)? My practice ammo for 380 is Roozkie
"KURZ". I wish I had more of this since I only paid 10 cents per round in August 2004.

What we call .380 here in the States, is called 9mm Kurz in Europe. Same Animal, though.
Kurz is German for "short". There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough
criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand

I'll answer your question this way.
I carry my .380 when I am not going to carry a gun. (A gun starts at 9x19 aka 9mm Parabellum and goes on up in caliber from there.) 9mm and on up are "defensive" calibers. Given the choice no one would use a handgun when you know bullets are going to be flying. We carry handguns when we are 99.9999999999999999999% positive we will NOT get in a gunfight. .380 (and smaller) is something that makes you feel good to carry but once the bullets do fly you instantly want a larger gun with more bullets. Don't fall into the trap that you are "armed" when you carry a .380. cheers tire iron
