Even tho I havent put in to get my gun permit(I plan to in the near future), I am interested in seeing waht the ammunition is around the country. Have you found new sources for ammo? What are the prices? Any Deals? Also: Has anyone gotten into reloading? I think at least one person per team should be the reloader, and he can train other members(as well as members of the community, Police Departments,etc)in this very important skill. Thanks, Sean

Unfortunately I have no real updated ammo cost/price knowledge from the last 90 days. Just quit caring as It all got so out of hand and crazy. Your personally looking at consumer ammo price fleecing now beyond imagination. I will look around and also do some calling. If I find anything worth while I'll post it for you. I wish you luck this late in the game... Sorry, don't mean to be a downer! It will get better to a point, and prices will go down to a point as well. Double Bravo Out! In the last month or so some ammo has been showing up in enough quantity that the prices have come down a little. Reloading is still tough as primers are extremely scarce, powder is hard to get, and I am still looking for some .308 bullets to reload. Operator Posts: 1457 07/02/09 06:41:24 Moderator	Rifle and pistol ammo are trickling in down here in the Southeast, but disappears virtually as soon as it hits the shelves! Prices run about two to three times pre-election levels. Rimfire is nonexistant. This is very adversely affecting those in Competition shooting, as well as firearm training. Anyone going for their "G" (armed) Guard license must supply their own 150 rounds of pistol ammo! Many indoor ranges strictly enforce a rule of shooting ammo bought from them in their range only! I have been into reloading for awhile, and have enough components to get me by awhile - but my shooting has been cut back. Most online suppliers are backordering, and giving anywhere from late July to October as the expected shipping date! Bad Juju....... "Accuracy costs money - how small can you afford to go?"
